How to grow Oat bran at home

Oat bran is fairly simple and easy to grow in moderate climate conditions.

All you need is some land and moderate temperature. You will not need a lot of water but watering is required at initial stages of the growth.

If you have played farmville on Facebook you would already know that first step to grow oat bran is to plow the field properly and add some natural manures in it.

You can then buy some Oat bran seeds available at your local seed shop and then put them there.

After planting the seeds your job is to sparkle the water once in a day. Mornings are better than the evenings. Make sure that the land you choose gets enough sunlight because without sunlight growing oat bran would be very time consuming and not that successful.

It would take almost 4-5 months to the plants to grow at full size. You may add manures in the feild to make it quick.

Harvesting

You will need some tools to harvest the oats. It is fairly simple process and you can do that yourself. But it is better to hire services if you are planning to put a large area of land into cultivation.
